Like their 1982 Night of the Shooting Stars, this story of several generations of a cursed Italian family, the Benedettis, unfolds as a memoir. Wild Flower (Fiorile) is a lovely film, with expansive emotional and physical vistas resonating through time like a pebble thrown in a pond. A-
