We gave it a B+

Considering the enormous amount of airless junk Anne Murray recorded in the last decade, this collection of ’50s pop standards (”Secret Love,” ”Fever,” ”Teach Me Tonight”) is a delightful surprise. Murray — who grew up on these songs and learned to harmonize from them — approaches the mostly acoustic remakes on Croonin’ with the right mix of reverence, rejuvenation, and modern sensuality. B+
