Think you have what it takes to be a cop in the movies? Pretend you’re Burt Reynolds playing cranky detective in Cop and a Half. You see your pint-size partner Devon (Norman D. Golden II) about to be moved down by a villain’s car. Risking death, you run in front of the vehicle, snatch the child out of harm’s way, and roll down an embankment. You lie at the bottom clutching Devon and recovering from the ordeal. Before you even ask the kid if he’s okay, what’s the first thing that you and he should do?
