Has reality TV taken a casualty? After being interviewed by Tom Brokaw on an NBC News special report, 19-year-old inmate Lee Bolli hanged himself at the state prison in Picacho, Ariz. Bolli, who was serving a four-year sentence for burglary, was featured in a Brokaw Report segment on the troubled twentysomething generation. He left no note, and prison officials are conducting a routine investigation into the circumstances of his suicide. During the interview, Bolli expressed disillusionment about his future. ”When the jobs aren’t there, you just either lose your dreams or you get mad,” he said. Network news president Andrew Lack issued a statement: ”All of us at NBC News mourn his loss.”
