Playing an escaped con (but a phenomenally good person deep down inside), Van Damme rides in on a white charger to protect an innocent woman (Arquette) and her two kids from a greedy and violent land development corporation. Nowhere to Run is about as believable as Bigfoot, but the most soulful of action heroes holds the screen with his beefy presence and — yes, fans — there is the obligatory bare-butt shot. B-
