This indie quartet’s moody but light pop- tinged rock debut boasts stick-to-your-ribs satisfying songs, even the rather puzzling ”Swim,” an apologetic ode to Rose-as in Madder. Eerie rhythms, balanced by Mary Lorson’s breathy vocals and an occasional slide guitar, produce catchy, mysterious melodies, as if scoring the moment between sunset and dark shadows.
