Jurrasic Park trailer review

As the summer’s most anticipated movie, Jurassic Park doesn’t need to oversell itself in a trailer. Just as he did for Jaws and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Steven Spielberg has kept his new creatures largely under wraps (until Park opens on June 11). The coming attractions offer only fleeting images of dinosaurs running amok in the modern world: A reptilian silhouette stalks an unsuspecting child. A big, beady eye glowers through a window. A dragon-size foot stomps down beside a truck, in a show of force reminiscent of Bambi Meets Godzilla. Judging from the way audiences don’t talk during this trailer, they’ve already lost themselves in Spielberg’s world. But can the movie maintain the illusion? After these glimpses, who doesn’t want to find out?
