Pinhead makes a music video

Slaughter author Clive Barker’s latest fright film, Hellraiser III, is currently being teased with an MTV music video featuring Pinhead, the hellish protagonist from earlier Hellraiser movies. Called ”the ultimate sadomasochistic device” by Barker, Pinhead is pitted in the video against primo Motorheadbanger Lemmy in a poker game for the punk-metal grungemeister’s soul. At the outcome of the game, when Lemmy wins, he belches the movie’s theme song to an audience of damned souls — who look a lot like a typical crowd at a Motorhead show. Pinhead doesn’t get a shot at exercising his dusty lungs, though. ”I wouldn’t want to hear this character’s voice,” says Barker.
