Rio Rita

This new-to-video picture don’t quite measure up to Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein or The Time of Their Lives. Rio Rita, an update of an early talkie, is essentially a dude-ranch musical with Abbott and Costello routines awkardly shoehorned in; Bud and Lou try hard, but the romantic leads (Kathryn Grayson and John Carroll) keep breaking into song and slowing things down.
