The Graywolf Annual Eight: The New Family

A politically correct anthology of stories about the new American family in all its permutations: divorced parents, single parents, multimarriage parents, two-career parents, gay parents. Despite the variety of situations, the characters in The Graywold Annual Eight are too similar, and the stories too issue-bound. Still, a few of these families — especially those described by Richard Bausch, Kate Braverman, and Molly Best Tinsley — are worth visiting. B
