On her 29th career album, Anne Murray returns to her acoustic sound of the ’70s, mixing country, ballads, and vaguely R&B-flavored tunes such as the soulful title cut, a song Bonnie Raitt might have covered. Yet despite the purity of her husky alto, Murray never cuts loose on anything, and leaves her listeners to wish that a gutsier singer had brought You Will to life. C+
