America’s master of cinematic cultural anthropology, Les Blank, wrote, produced, and directed this extraordinary video vignette, Marc and Ann, devoted to Marc and Ann Savoy, the engaging young Louisiana couple whose preservational work largely inspired Blank’s earlier Cajun-zydeco video, J’ai Été au Bal, widely regarded as a classic documentary.
