The special props in ''Child's Play 2''

According to the special-effects guru Kevin Yagher, it takes a lot more than demons to possess devil doll Chucky in Child’s Play 2. Here are a few necessary items.

Three main Chucky dolls (two cable-controlled, one radio-controlled).

Seven radio-controlled heads with varying expressions.

Specialized stunt dolls, including the ”flailing doll” (to reflect Chucky’s most rabid state).

Three blow-up heads capable of expanding to regulation basketball size (used for the movie’s climax).

Seven to nine puppeteers working simultaneously.

Over $1 million (cost of the effects for the two Child’s Play movies).
