Top Cops

Top Cops is a reality-based show that’s occasionally compelling. Real police officers recount the worst or most exciting moments in their careers; the anecdotes are dramatized by actors. A segment in the series’ premier episode about a bomb-squad expert dismantling a bomb in an abortion clinic was well done and harrowing. The reenactments are occasionally overwrought, but the clipped, no-nonsense narration by the police is terrific. B
