Davidson is part of the first-rate ensemble cast of Fox’s In Living Color, but on this cable half hour, he establishes himself as a sweetly funny stand-up comic and a deadly impressionist.

Whether he’s talking about sex, the national anthem, or cockroaches, there’s not a trace of malice in anything Davidson says. He’s good-spirited without being mushy, and he has a special talent for inhabiting the minds of children and speaking their thoughts.

Davidson is devilish when parodying the most extreme mannerisms of singers such as Prince, Anita Baker, Michael McDonald, and especially Michael Jackson, who will probably change his entire act if he ever gets a load of the merciless fun Davidson has with him.
