One of Crowley's finest storylines will always be his team-up with Demon Dean. From playing foosball to numerous chats at the bar, Crowley's relationship with Dean did not disappoint.

What starts with a memorable nightmare — Crowley on Christmas morning — ends when Crowley and Rowena help the Winchesters get out of the cage. The twist? Lucifer also got out by using Castiel's vessel.

When the Winchesters are introduced to Princes of Hell, we learn how it is that Crowley became the King of Hell all those years ago. And in present day, it is Crowley who finds a way to save Castiel's life. Plus, he ends the hour with a surprise: He's holding Lucifer hostage.
