Posted on

Prepare to spend your Labor Day weekend in the Ozarks.

On Thursday, Netflix released the first look at season 2 of Ozark with an ominous trailer, which revealed that the Jason Bateman and Laura Linney series will return on Aug. 31.

“We’ve done a lot of things, things that we said we would never do,” says Wendy (Linney), with her husband Marty (Bateman) adding, “People make choices. Choices have consequences.”

And the consequences of the Byrde family’s criminal ways will come via the arrival of a ruthless attorney (played by Jessica Jones‘ Janet McTeer), their relationship with the dangerous Snell family, and Ruth’s (Julia Garner) father being released from prison.
