NCIS: See Mark Harmon manhandle guest star Drew Carey

Posted on

Someone framed Drew Carey. And he wants to kick some butt!

EW has obtained an exclusive first look at the Price Is Right host in his guest-starring role on NCIS. In the episode slated for March, Carey plays a retired Marine Sergeant John Ross who, together with Gibbs (Mark Harmon), is hoping to clear his name after he’s accused of packing cyanide-laced cookies in care packages for active-duty servicemen. At least one soldier died… and there could be more.

“Working on NCIS was a terrific experience for me,” said Carey. “The entire cast and crew were so welcoming and professional. You can’t believe how hard they work to do that show.”

In the episode titled “Handle with Care,” Carey’s character — who’s also a former prisoner of war — helps Gibbs and the team find the real culprit behind the death of a serviceman. And he has some suspicions (ergo, Gibbs trying to hold him back from making a mistake he’ll regret).

Carey’s episode of NCIS airs Tuesday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
