Joel McHale has 'no boundaries' in trailer for new Netflix show

Posted on

The first trailer for The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale finds the Community star once again taking advantage of a green screen.

The new Netflix show is a weekly half-hour topical series that fits right into McHale’s wheelhouse – skewering news and pop culture. (McHale once hosted E!’s Talk Soup.) The show will feature “celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and insane video clips from the worldwide realms of TV, sports, politics, celebrity culture, and every corner of the internet,” according to Netflix.

The trailer hints at new levels of maturity and sophistication for McHale: “You guys just superimposed a bunch of d—s on me, didn’t you?” he complains.

The series premieres on Feb. 18 with guest Kevin Hart and appearances by Alison Brie, Mike Colter, Paul Reiser, Jodie Sweetin, and Jim Rash. McHale executive produces alongside Paul Feig, KP Anderson, Jessie Henderson, Brad Stevens, and Boyd Vico.
