9-1-1 exclusive clip: Connie Britton races to save a child in Ryan Murphy's new drama

Posted on

If the sound of Connie Britton in super cute tortoiseshell glasses doesn’t lure you in, Fox’s adrenalized drama 9-1-1, premiering tonight at 9 p.m. ET, also has some of the most exhilarating actions sequences you’ll see on television.

The series, from American Horror Story team of Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear, follows a group of Los Angeles-area first responders, including Britton, Angela Bassett, and Peter Krause, as they attempt to save lives while keeping their own personal lives together.

In the exclusive clip above from the climax of tonight’s premiere, Britton’s emergency operator Abby helps to locate a young girl whose home has been invaded by robbers. The young girl has just moved to a new house so she doesn’t know her address, which proves a challenge for Abby to send help.

Please take note of the eyewear.
