Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Jimmy Kimmel have a new holiday tradition for Game of Thrones fans.

In the Elf on the Shelf riff from Tuesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Waldau suits up as the Lannister on the Bannister — which is basically just a pint-sized Jamie Lannister in an elf costume who terrifies children into behaving.

Lannister on the Bannister, sold as a tradition for all religions, comes with his own catchphrases, like “winter is coming” and “you steal that candy and I’ll chop your hand off — like this!” He’ll even flirt with women if they look like his sister, Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister, and regale children with tales of the Red Wedding. Viewer discretion is advised, obviously.

Lannister on the Bannister is also guaranteed to comfort Thrones fans anxiously awaiting the arrival of the show’s final season, which Waldau’s costar Sophie Turner said will premiere in 2019.
