As Monday’s guest host for Jimmy Kimmel Live, Chris Pratt had the time of his life singing with Chris Stapleton.

Call it a resurgence of Mouse Rat/Scarecrow Boat/Fourskin/Fiveskin/Nothing Rhymes With Orange/whatever name Andy Dwyer is currently calling his band, but Pratt put on a little show with the country music star and the Wheel of Cheesy Duets, which randomly selected a cheesy duet for them to sing together.

The wheel missed out on Neil Diamond and Barbara Streisand’s “You Don’t Bring Me Flowers,” “Somewhere Out There” from An American Tail, and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin to land on the Bill Medley-Jennifer Warnes hit from Dirty Dancing. Sadly, there was no dirty dancing on the part of Pratt and Stapleton.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star had surprised fans in October at one of Stapleton’s concerts at the Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee to duet on “Tennessee Whiskey.” Monday night was their follow-up.

“For me, it’s inspirational to see a guy with a huge beard and a cowboy hat to finally make it in country music,” Pratt joked of Stapleton during his introduction.

Kimmel took the week off from Jimmy Kimmel Live to spend time with his family while his 7-month-old son recovers from a successful heart surgery. Pratt was the first guest host of the week, to be followed by Tracee Ellis Ross, Neil Patrick Harris, and Melissa McCarthy.

Watch Pratt’s duet with Stapleton in the clip above.
