Bill Hader becomes a hitman in new trailer for HBO's Barry

Posted on

If you took Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and mixed in some Don’t Think Twice, you might end up with Barry, the upcoming HBO series directed by and starring SNL alum Bill Hader.

Barry follows an eponymous ex-Marine who works as a hitman and travels to Los Angeles for a job. There, he inadvertently becomes accepted in a small community of would-be actors in the L.A. theater scene.

The teaser trailer shows costar Henry Winkler, but we also get quick glimpses of the supporting cast, including D’arcy Carden (NBC’s The Good Place).

Hader co-wrote the series with Alec Berg (Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm). Barry will premiere on HBO in spring 2018.
