Amazon Prime Video’s coverage of the 2018 Rose Parade has landed a superstar and an anchorman.

Health and Fitness expert Cord Hosenbeck and L.A. Law alum Tish Cattigan are set to host the streaming service’s live broadcast of the event on New Years Day, which will be produced by Funny or Die. Some may recognize the long-time hosting duo as Saturday Night Live alums Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon.

“Tish and I wait all year for this and this year it’s going to be the biggest, the best, the most fun parade ever!” said Hosenback of the announcement, with Cattigan adding, “Pasadena in January! I wouldn’t miss it for the world!”

The two are no strangers to the annual event, having covered the Rose Parade the past 25 years for a local TV station. This year, though, their live commentary will be seen by fans around the world. “Cord and Tish are parade legends, beloved the world over, and it was such a coup for us to steal them away to Amazon Prime Video for their first-ever live-streamed parade,” Heather Schuster, Head of Unscripted, Amazon Originals, said in a statement.

In addition to the high-profile gig, Hosenback has been signed as the newest celebrity spokesperson for Wix, which has launched a website and series of videos for fans to better get to know the celebrated dog-breeder and life coach.

The Rose Parade begins Jan. 1 at 11 a.m. ET on Amazon Prime via the Amazon Prime Video app for TVs, connected devices including Fire TV, mobile devices and online at www.amazon.com/2018RoseParade.
