TBS’ satirical and on-the-nose Search Party, which is no longer about a search, is back for season 2, and the Bingeworthy hosts agree that just like its premiere season, the mystery-comedy series fusion continues to deliver laughs.

“They murdered someone and now it’s just about coming to terms with that, getting away with it, repressing it — it’s hilarious,” says co-host Jessica Shaw, noting that her favorite characters are Portia (Meredith Hagner) and Elliot (John Early). “They kill me, every single line that comes out of their mouth. I’m just obsessed with them.”

Touré agreed with her, saying that the characters are “interesting, complex people,” even in ordinary situations. “It’s just a really sweet, again, quirky but amazing little journey they’ve sent these characters on,” he says.

Catch season 2 of Search Party, also starring Alia Shawkat and John Reynolds, Sunday at 10 p.m. on TBS.
