Seth Meyers blasted his fellow Saturday Night Live alum Al Franken during Thursday night’s Late Night With Seth Meyers, calling out the current U.S. senator over sexual misconduct allegations.

“The avalanche of sexual harassment allegations in the last few weeks has shown us that predatory behavior is everywhere, in virtually every aspect of society, in the news business, in entertainment, and in politics,” Meyers said during his “Closer Look” segment. “Today we also learned yet again — as if more evidence was needed — that this is not a partisan problem. There are sexual harassers of all political persuasions in both parties.”

On Thursday, Franken was accused by television host Leeann Tweeden of kissing Tweeden without consent and groping her while she slept during a USO tour in 2006. (Franken apologized to Tweeden in a lengthy statement; Tweeden said she accepted Franken’s apology.)

Responding to the photo of Franken appearing to grab Tweeden’s chest, Meyers said Thursday, “That is horrifying. And she’s wearing army gear because it’s a USO tour. But honestly, who could blame women if they started wearing military gear whenever they’re around men?”
