Taylor Swift and Tiffany Haddish bust a move in new SNL promo

Posted on

Taylor Swift is making her much-anticipated return to television this Saturday when she joins host Tiffany Haddish on Saturday Night Live, and from the looks of a new promo video, the ladies are already hitting it off.

In the clip, the Girls Trip breakout star interrupts Swift’s gushing to ask an important question about the singer’s new album, reputation. “Listen, listen, I just want to know, are any of those new songs about me?” asks Haddish. When Swift replies that they aren’t, Haddish asks if they can just pretend that they are, to which Swift responds with a resounding “absolutely!” The actress celebrates by saying, “I made it on the album, y’all,” and the duo bust out some dance moves.

Saturday will mark Swift’s first appearance on the comedy sketch show since the 40th anniversary special in 2015. More significantly, Haddish will make history as the first black female comedian to host the show.

Saturday Night Live airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Watch the promo clip above.
