Jimmy Kimmel mocks Trump's Vietnam trip with Kellyanne Conway puppet

President Donald Trump finally went to Vietnam. So, as far as Jimmy Kimmel’s Kellyanne Conway puppet is concerned, the liberal media can stop dragging him for not going.

As part of Trump’s diplomatic travels through Asia, the president made a stop in Vietnam — and Kimmel didn’t waste the opportunity to bring up his Vietnam War draft deferment.

“I think President Trump deserves an apology… from all the liberal losers who said that he tried to get out of going to Vietnam,” the Conway puppet declared. “He’s going. He’s there, okay? Happy now? Suck it, John McCain. Our president went to Vietnam, too — and guess what? He didn’t get captured.”

After Trump graduated college in 1968, he was eligible to be drafted for the Vietnam War. However, he was diagnosed with bone spurs in his heels, which many of his opponents believed was an excuse to avoid the military.

“Do you know how painful bone spurs in the foot are, Jimmy?” the Conway puppet, who’s still celebrating the one-year anniversary of Trump’s presidency, continued. “It’s very painful. It’s more painful than watching three hours of Anderson Poop-er!”

Years later on the presidential campaign trail, this diagnosis didn’t play to Trump’s favor when he attacked Senator McCain, who not only served in the Navy, but was a prisoner of war in a North Vietnamese prison. “He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured,” Trump had said. Meanwhile, McCain said Trump never really apologized for the comments.

Elsewhere, Kimmel wanted to grill Conway on Trump’s upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. As expected, she was vague in her response. “Well, let’s just say everything is on the table,” she said. “Have you ever seen a table? … Have you ever put something on a table? … Okay, now just picture everything on a table.”
