Grey's Anatomy star, director Debbie Allen picks her favorite moments

Posted on

To celebrate Grey’s Anatomy‘s 300th episode, star/executive producer/director Debbie Allen, who plays Dr. Catherine Avery on the ABC medical drama, tweeted out her favorite moments from the show’s history.

Most of Allen’s choices, save the sixth one, come from the show’s most recent seasons, which she has a more personal connection to: Although Allen’s involvement with the ABC show goes all the way back to 2010 when she directed the season 6 episode “Sympathy for the Parents,” she didn’t become an EP until season 12.

Below, see Allen’s round-up of her favorite moments, which begins with the show’s pilot and spans seasons 12-14, including that time Denzel Washington directed an episode:

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
