It’s a good day to be Rob Dyrdek.

MTV announced the premiere date for a new companion show to Ridiculousness on Thursday afternoon, titled Amazingness, in addition to picking up the original series for a 10th season. Both shows will feature Dyrdek as the host and executive producer and are slated for premiere on Friday, Dec. 8.

The new series will introduce the world to talented young people across the country, who will then compete with one another in order to achieve the top spot and win some serious cash. After each performance, Dyrdek and his committee of judges — Eddie Huang (Fresh Off the Boat), Krystal Bee (The Cruz Show), and Chris “Drama” Pfaff (Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory) — will decide who stays on top. The ultimate champion of the show will walk away with $10,000.

“Working together again, my production company Superjacket and MTV have created a perfect complement to Ridiculousness,” Dyrdek said of the new show. “Amazingness is a fast-paced show that is to wins what Ridiculousness is to fails — with all the irreverent comedy and nonstop action you’d expect.”

The 10th season of Ridiculousness is nothing to scoff at, either. The show will celebrate the milestone by introducing new categories like “Super She-roes,” “Bro-Motion,” “Truth Bombs,” and “Tongue Cam.” Special guests will appear throughout the season in addition to the return of Sterling “Steelo” Brim and Chanel “West Coast.”

Amazingness will premiere Friday, Dec. 8 at 10:30 p.m. ET following the 10 p.m. return of Ridiculousness on MTV.
