Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick is hoping to clear his name in the wake of a second claim of sexual assault.

“It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct,” Westwick, 30, wrote in a statement published to social media on Thursday. “I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”

The Los Angeles Police Department launched an investigation after actress Kristina Cohen accused Westwick of raping her three years prior. Cohen, 27, described in a Facebook post how she fell asleep during a party at the actor’s home and woke up with him on top of her. “I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f— me,” she wrote.

Westwick, who stated he doesn’t know Cohen, denied any claims of rape or forcing himself on a woman in “any manner.”

Former actress Aurélie Wynn then came forward with a post on social media about Westwick, alleging he raped her at the Glendower Estates in California in July 2014. “I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight,” she wrote.

A spokesperson for the LAPD told EW the department is currently only investigating Cohen’s claims against Westwick.
