It’s almost time for the holidays, which for TV fans means the barren wasteland of breaks for their favorite shows.

But NBC has an early present for fans — January premiere dates.

This Is Us returns to television early in the new year in its normal time slot at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2. The show will pick up after a trilogy of episodes dedicated to each of the “Big Three.”

Other NBC favorite The Good Place returns that same week on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 8:30 p.m. ahead of the return of Will & Grace at 9 p.m.

Taken, based on the hit Liam Neeson franchise, returns for its season 2 premiere on Friday, Jan. 12 at 9 p.m.

THURSDAY, JAN. 4
8-8:30 p.m. – Superstore
8:30-9 p.m. – The Good Place
9-9:30 p.m. – Will & Grace
9:30-10 p.m. – Great News
10-11 p.m. – Chicago Fire

FRIDAY, JAN. 12
8-9 p.m. – Blindspot
9-10 p.m. – Taken (season premiere)
10-11 p.m. – Dateline NBC
