In the latest installment that is the saga of Matt Damon’s fake feud with Jimmy Kimmel, the Suburbicon star enlisted his buddy, George Clooney, to sneak him onto the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Everyone was excited to see the twins for the first time, but these weren’t actually Clooney’s newborns with Amal Clooney, Alexander and Ella.

As soon as the actor strolled in, claiming to be the manny, Kimmel took offense. “I’m his manny … it’s a nanny who’s a man,” Damon said.

“You’re not a man,” Kimmel exclaimed, setting his rival up for the zinger: “That’s not what your wife said.”

When Damon finally revealed “the twins” for the audience, it turned out to be all a ruse so he could flip Kimmel the bird — twice. “There they are, right there! Right there. Huh? This is screw, and this is you. Screw you,” he said.

Recently, Damon and Kimmel have been dialing their comedic squabble up a notch. Earlier this month, the Martian actor crashed Kimmel’s interview with Chris Hemsworth, and then the two appeared together in a promo for an awkward dinner experience in support of Jon Stewart’s Night of Too Many Stars charity event. Damon and Kimmel continue to promote their Omaze campaign, which gives viewers the opportunity to share a meal with them and visit a live taping of Kimmel, so there will likely be many more staged face-offs between them on the late-night show in the near future.
