Now that the nation’s tissue reserves are piling up, it’s time to start depleting them. And there’s probably no better way to do that than to tune in to the This Is Us season 2 premiere.

It’s been more than six months since the hit family drama unveiled the This Is Us season 1 finale, so its return is overdue. So when does season 2 of This Is Us start? The hourlong episode will unspool on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Have more questions? We have more answers:

What channel is This Is Us on? We don’t know in which media market you reside, so you’ll have to check your local listings to see which one is NBC. (You did know that it was on NBC, right?) If you’re too lazy to “check local listings,” maybe switch to channel 4 and hope for the best.

Where is This Is Us streaming? The episode will be available on NBC.com and the NBC app several hours after the premiere, at 5 a.m. ET/ 2 a.m. PT on Sept. 27, and Hulu will have it available at that same time as well, thanks to a streaming-rights deal cut this past spring.

How does Jack die? Well, creator Dan Fogelman says that the season premiere, titled “A Father’s Advice,” is “very heavy,” and it contains a “huge piece of the puzzle” surrounding the circumstances of Jack’s death. The cast offers up all kinds of teases right here.

Looking for a refresher? Here’s our This Is Us finale recap. And if you’ll come this way, Fogelman will break down the finale for you.

A few more things to remember: Sterling K. Brown and Susan Kelechi Watson say Randall and Beth clash over the adoption issue like “we haven’t seen them before.” And Chrissy Metz and Chris Sullivan hint at ‘some lows’ in Toby and Kate’s story. Metz also discusses Kate’s guilt over Jack’s death, weight loss, and singing career. Oh, and everything else you need to know about season 2 can be gleaned over here.
