Lore: Check out the terrifying trailer for the podcast adaptation

Posted on

For more than two years, Aaron Mahnke has been terrifying listeners with tales of the morbid and macabre. The Lore podcast takes a historical approach to its episodes, examining the folklore and true stories that shaped modern day fears — like the darkened woods, or the open ocean.

Now, thanks to Amazon, Lore is making the jump to the small screen.

Judging from a new trailer, it looks like the six episodes will be covering vampires, changelings, presumably unnecessary medical procedures, and creepy living dolls.

Stream the show — when else? — in October, beginning Friday the 13th.
