Will & Grace has turned to Broadway to find its next big guest star.
EW has learned that Tony Award winner Ben Platt will appear on the comedy when it makes a triumphant return to NBC next month.
The Dear Evan Hansen star will show up in the Oct. 5 episode. Sadly, NBC won’t reveal any other details about his appearance on the comedy that will reunite Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes in New York City. And in case you didn’t hear, Will and Grace will still be in their same apartment together, Jack will be living next door, and Karen will still be enjoying her adult beverages.
Executive producers Max Mutchnick and David Kohan said a limited number of guest stars will participate in the reboot, which already earned a second season pickup from NBC. Harry Connick Jr. will reprise his role as Grace’s spouse Leo.
NBC will air 16 episodes of the Will & Grace reboot this season.
