Snowfall has been renewed for a second season, FX announced at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Wednesday.
Set in Los Angeles circa 1983, the series takes place during the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic, following numerous characters on a collision course, including young street entrepreneur Franklin (Damson Idris), Mexican wrestler Gustavo (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), and CIA operative Teddy (Carter Hudson).
The series, which is averaging 5 million total viewers across all platforms in its current first season, hails from John Singleton, Eric Amadio, Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Michael London, and Trevor Engelson.
Snowfall airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
