Anna Paquin’s run on True Blood as Sookie ended in 2014, but American audiences can expect to see her lead another show very soon.

WGN America has acquired the rights to the Paquin-lead series Bellevue, the network announced Monday. After its February debut in Canada, the original series commissioned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation will premiere on its new network in early 2018.

The series centers around Paquin’s Annie Ryder, a small town detective trying to find a missing “high school hockey star wrestling with his gender identity… and all signs point to foul play,” according to the network. “As the case pulls her further away from her family, she is also confronted by a mysterious person from her past with disturbing answers and a terrifying need to get inside her head.” Allen Leech (Downton Abbey) and Shawn Doyle (House of Cards) costar as her ex-boyfriend and her boss, the town’s police chief, respectively.
