Casey, Cappie, Evan, Ashley, Rusty, and co. are just going to have to get together on their own time. The Greek reunion movie officially won’t be moving forward at Freeform, EW has learned.

The dramedy series, which ran on ABC Family from 2007 to 2011, starred Spencer Grammer, Scott Michael Foster, Jacob Zachar, and Jake McDorman as students at a fictional Ohio university as they dealt with life, love, and the Greek system. In April 2016, Freeform announced it was working with the show’s creator, Patrick Sean Smith, to develop a reunion special, possibly with a holiday theme.

“Since it was announced, I’ve talked to all the cast, and they’re all super excited,” Smith told EW at the time. “It’s a fingers-crossed situation.”

Unfortunately, all that finger-crossing (including on the hands of this writer) didn’t pan out.
