It’s a classic Amazing Race finale Detour: recall the geographical location of each previously run leg and place them in order — preferably, in some insanely challenging way. Season 29’s Detour twist? The three remaining teams advancing into Thursday night’s finale must use Wrigley Field’s iconic hand-operated scoreboard to line up the cities in which they finished each leg.
Oh, and one other minor detail: one team member is operating the scoreboard blind, with only verbal instructions from their other team member who has no audio communication while broadcasting their commands from the Chicago Cubs press box.
Watch in the exclusive clip above as Logan and London of #TeamLoLo and Tara and Joey of #TeamMomandDad run bleachers, flail their arms out of historic landmarks, and try to figure out how to use microphones. Of course, there’s only one way to find out the fate of the final remaining team, Brooke and Scott…
The Amazing Race finale airs Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
