President Donald Trump may have taken things one step too far for Late Night host and former Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers.

In a revealing interview with TIME, Trump defended some of his wilder claims, some of which have been discredited, saying, “I guess I can’t be doing so badly, because I’m president, and you’re not.” The statement elicited references to comedian Chevy Chase’s days on SNL when he famously opened the Weekend Update segment with the line, “I’m Chevy Chase… and you’re not.”

Meyers, who himself anchored or co-anchored Weekend Update from 2006 to 2014, addressed Trump during Thursday’s episode of Late Night: “Okay, I didn’t mind when you talked dirty with Billy Bush or told Russia to hack Hillary’s emails. But when you start stealing bits from Weekend Update actors, it is on.”

Meyers went on to point out another phrase Trump might have taken from SNL and ended with a zinger made famous by Dan Aykroyd.
