It’s been 10 years since the delightful and disturbing debut of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! — which means it’s time to celebrate a 10th anniversary. But this one won’t be celebrated with the traditional tin/aluminum gift or even a modern gift of diamond jewelry; it will come in the form of an 18-city American tour this summer that begins in Portland, Maine, on July 11 and ends in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, with no explanation for what happened in between.

Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim announced on Monday that they will hit the road in tribute to the 2007-2010 Adult Swim bizarro sketch series that did unspeakable things to the bar of absurdity. They promise a night of “new spoofs and goofs, riffs and bits, songs and dances,” as well as a new lo-fi character named Troi.  Check it out in the video announcing the 10 Year Anniversary Tour, or as Heidecker calls it, “our Summer 10 Year Anniversary Tim and Eric Awesome Tour 10 Year Anniversary of Tim and Eric Awesome Tour United States Tour.” Of course, Heidecker and Wareheim joined comedy forces before Awesome Show (see: Tom Goes to the Mayor) and after (see: Tim & Eric’s Bedtime Stories) — they also executive-produce such series as Tim and Eric spin-off Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, The Eric Andre Show, Nathan for You, and w/Bob and David — but this is the anniversary that they have chosen to celebrate, so just go with it.

Tickets go on sale this Friday for shows in these cities.
