Mark your calendars, because we finally know when Insecure is returning.

Insecure co-creator and star Issa Rae announced the season 2 premiere date on Tuesday. The already dope HBO comedy returns July 23, she revealed in a Twitter video.

Although Rae wouldn’t comment on whether or not Issa (Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji) were still single, she did confirm that Lawrence was still fine (duh!) and that “it’s about to get hot this summer” when the hilarious series bows in.

“We’re coming back happier, stronger, better, doper than ever,” said the Golden Globe nominated actress in the video. “I’m so excited for you guys to see what we’ve been working this summer.”

Co-created by Larry Wilmore and based on Rae’s webseries Awkward Black GirlInsecure received praise for its sharp comedy and the way in which it tackled social and race issues in its first season while avoiding clichés.

The eight-episode second season premieres July 23 on HBO.
