25 Scoops in 25 Days

Pretty Little Liars first look: Wren's back... and meeting Ezra?

Posted on

To celebrate our Winter TV Preview, EW is bringing fans 25 Scoops in 25 Days. From now until the end of the month, follow the hashtag #25Scoops25Days on Twitter and Instagram to keep up with the latest — and check EW.com/25scoops for all the news and surprises.

With only 10 episodes of Pretty Little Liars left, fans know to expect a number of familiar faces, whether it be Charlotte’s appearance in the series finale or someone they haven’t seen in years, like, say, Wren?

Word of Wren’s return first spread in August, and although he hasn’t appeared on the show since 2013 — and has reportedly been living in London — his presence has been felt in Rosewood. Translation: He remains a top suspect for just about anything and everything that happens. We don’t know what it is about him, but that man just seems suspicious.

And to make matters more intriguing, EW has the exclusive first look at Wren’s return, and his new haircut isn’t the only interesting thing about the photos. While some fans will love the fact that we’re going to get more Spencer-Wren time — never forget that they kissed in season 1 while he was engaged to her sister — others will probably wonder why Spencer is introducing Wren to Ezra. Also, where are they?

Pretty Little Liars returns for its final season Tuesday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
