Looks like the Mick just scrounged a few more episodes out of the bottom of her purse.
Fox has ordered four extra episodes of the Kaitin Olson comedy, the network announced on the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour on Wednesday. A total of 17 episodes will now air this season.
The Mick — which centers on a responsibility-fearing schemer (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Olson) who is forced to look after her on-the-run sister’s three kids — earned a 3.7 rating in the 18-to-49-year-old demo in Live +7 for its Jan. 1 premiere, making it this season’s top-rated new comedy debut.
Fox will showcase the next episode of The Mick — which normally airs Tuesdays — on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET after The Simpsons‘ one-hour episode.
