Heart don’t fail me now, courage don’t desert me…

EW is going to take you on journey to the past cast, the Anastasia cast album that is, with the debut of the the original Broadway cast recording of the new musical based on the 1997 animated film and the 1956 Ingrid Bergman-led production.

The album features a score from Tony winners Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics), including Academy Award-nominated tune “Journey to the Past.” The 75-minutes album features old favorites from the 1997 animated film and new numbers from the show, including “In My Dreams,” “Still,” “Once Upon a December,” and “Learn to Do It.”

Anastasia opened on Broadway on April 24 at the Broadhurst Theatre. It features the talents of Christy Altomare, Derek Klena, John Bolton, Ramin Karimloo, Caroline O’Connor, Mary Beth Peil, and more. The musical follows Anya (Altomare), a young Russian woman with amnesia, as she struggles to find her long-lost family in 1920s Paris. Along the way she encounters danger, but also discovers romance and the key to her true identity.

Check out the links below to hear all of the songs from the show, including the new tunes to ones your heart used to know and yearns to remember.
