The second episode of this season of Game of Thrones began with Queen Dany constructing a beautiful strategy for Westeros conquest. By episode’s end, that strategy was demolished, thanks to the disruptive arrival of Euron Greyjoy. But while times are tough for various Greyjoys and Sand Snakes, things are looking up for Arya, who met up with a couple old friends. Meanwhile, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen move ever closer to their inevitable meeting, even against the best advice of their advisors.

Read James Hibberd’s full recap of “Stormborn,” and then read the other hundred things he’s written today about the episode. And then listen to the latest episode of EW’s Game Of Thrones Weekly, our regular attempt to Monday-Morning-Quarterback all the doings in Westeros. Topics discussed include the ongoing Sansa-Jon debate, the tender Missandei-Grey Worm love scene, and the question of whether the episode’s fatalities were like Teri Bauer on 24 or Surfer Johnny from The O.C.
