Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” video is a veritable trove of Easter eggs for her fans — but according to the singer, one bit of hidden meaning was thought of too late.
In a new behind-the-scenes clip from the making of “Look What You Made Me Do,” Swift said the scene in which she and a group of women rob the vault of a music streaming company was akin to “absolute idiocy” because “we’re, like, robbing a streaming company as if they have a vault of cash and all the girls are shoving money into their really well-coordinated, primary color, awesome Gucci outfits wearing ridiculous kitten masks.”
But as Swift mentioned in the video, the masks don’t replicate the likeness of her cat Olivia Benson, one of two Scottish Fold cats Swift owns, on account of the ears not being pinned down
“We really, really should’ve stapled their ears,” Swift said of the masks. “Why? God, you get the best ideas after it’s too late!”
