From impersonating Mick Jagger on Saturday Night Live to releasing a “Bowie-esque” first solo single, Harry Styles has done much to prove he appreciates music from before his time. He proved it again on BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge, covering Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” in his set.

With some harmonious backup from his band, Styles on Monday delivered a cool and slightly stripped-down take on the infectious hit from the band’s 1977 Rumours album.

Back in May, Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks joined Styles at the Troubadour to perform “Landslide,” leading the former One Directioner to call it the “best night” of his life.

Styles adds another Fleetwood Mac tune to his repertoire with this performance, and we won’t complain if there’s more to come. Watch the full video above to see Styles cover “The Chain.”
