Shahs of Sunset star Asa Soltan explains Chester Bennington's posthumous appearance

Posted on

Shahs of Sunset viewers on Sunday may have been surprised to see an unexpected guest: Chester Bennington.

The Linkin Park frontman, who died of suicide in July, appeared on the Bravo reality show with his wife Talin. As it turns out, Shahs star Asa Soltan and her husband Jermaine became good friends with the couple after bonding with them on vacation in Hawaii. The episode was actually filmed late last year, when the late rocker visited a gallery show hosted by the reality star.

Following the episode’s broadcast, Soltan appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and discussed her connection with Bennington with host Andy Cohen. “It just breaks my heart,” Soltan said. “He was prolific, and an incredible soul. He was an amazing person.”
